Biography
Alberto Petruzzella graduated in law from the University of Lausanne in 1991, before working for UBS for 7 years, and then for Credit Suisse for 18 years, the last 10 of which as Manager for Ticino. Since 2017, he has been an independent director on a number of different Boards.
He is President of the Ticino Banking Association (Associazione Bancaria Ticinese), the Centre for Banking Studies Foundation (Fondazione Centro Studi Bancari) and the Board of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (Consiglio della Scuola Universitaria della Svizzera italiana).
He also acts as director on the Boards of other institutions and companies operating in the financial, educational, services and industrial fields.
