Biography

After his studies in economics, Aleardo Cattaneo worked for several years in Brazil before taking over the management and presidency of the board of directors of the more than 100-year-old family business, Ferriere Cattaneo, in Giubiasco.. He was a member and Vice President of Swissmem in Zurich, together with the current Federal Councilor Johann Schneider Amman. He currently chairs the AMETI association of Metalmechanical companies in Ticino.
